A study of infants. Comparison of real-time PCR assays with fluorescent-antibody assays for diagnosis of respiratory virus infections in children. A linear mixed-model analysis was performed to compare the difference of antibody titers over time for cases and controls. Abstract Breast milk respiratory syncitial virus out of infants admitted to hospital with respiratory syncytial RS virus infection had been breast-fed compared with 46 out of controls; this difference was statistically significant.
